- Analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications
- Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks
- Apply effective communication strategies
- Keep abreast with the new trend and best practice in the field
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations
- Conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports
- Process payroll for employees in the organization
- Ensure updated database regarding salaries
- Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system
- Work with company database programs to process payroll
- Prepares tax forms related to compensation
- Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense
2. Benefits
- Interprets and provides guidance relating to benefits, coverages, and contract provisions to employees and vendors.
- Researches and recommends benefit plan and contract term modifications.
- Reconciles and submits reports to insurance companies, coordinates audits and premium negotiations
- Interprets, provides guidance, and trains employees on benefits, and related policies and procedures.
- Coordinates implementation of benefits or related policy and procedure changes;
- Develops benefit orientation and other informational materials and coordinates their dissemination and the promotion of benefits programs.
- Reviews legislation and recommends changes to a retirement plan and/or policies and procedures; and coordinates retirement benefits;
- Prepares data for Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Labor, and actuarial reporting requirements for benefits
3. Human Resources Information Systems:
- Confirms accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintains data in HRIS systems and databases and assures information is available on a timely basis.
- Performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/reports on any data discrepancies.
- Delivers routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to essential to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
- Conducts data analysis on HR data such as compensation, classification, employment, employee relations, and/or benefits data as directed.
4. Others
- Prepares reports, graphs, charts, and statistics in support of human resources operations.
- Acts as primary contact for assigned functions with outside organizations or other departments; responds to technical administrative questions and ensures necessary follow-up.
- Participates in special projects with staff as directed.
Requirements
Experience
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
- Less than one year of experience working in human resources preferably in retention and engagement
Skills
- Excellent in Google Spreadsheets or MS Excel
- Excellent working knowledge of computer and telecommunication systems, IT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills as required in regularly being in contact with multiple teams, stakeholders, and/or customers
- Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino
- High initiative
- High organizational skills
