- Lead technical design of feature increments.
- Lead code analysis to identify issues and optimize for performance.
- Responsible for code quality and production health in scope for their Squad.
- Acts as the Technical Person-in-charge for the Squad in absence of an Engineering Manager.
- Provide technical advice as a subject matter expert for the features in scope for the Squad and in their field of expertise.
- Mentor Engineers in matters of technical proficiency
- Good English communication skills and the ability to express oneself properly
- Proficient in Kotlin and a solid foundation in Java
- Proficient with MVVM, MVI or Clean Architecture
- Proficient in RxJava and/or Coroutines
- Proficient in multi-module setup and dependency injection (Dagger 2, Hilt or Koin)
- Proficient in creating custom views and/or Jetpack Compose
- Knowledge of build system (Gradle and CI/CD)
- Knowledge of Android performance measurement and improvement
- Uses git for source code version control
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack Libraries
- Knowledge of Android app and/or OS security
